Log in without passwords
Why a password-less system?
Passwords are nowadays the most widely used access mechanism for authenticating users in web pages. However, for them to prove effective, they must have a certain minimum length and a mix of more or less random numbers and uppercase and lowercase letters. It is also recommended not to reuse the same password for different web services. These minimum security requirements make passwords difficult to remember and manage. In Gradement we do not want you to accumulate any more passwords. Our system allows secure access to your account without using them.
Is it safer?
Yes it is. The lack of passwords make the security non-dependant on the length and complexity of it, avoiding this way dictionary attacks (automatic attempt to find the key using combinations of existing words), brute force (test of all possible combinations of keys) and phishing (attempts to acquire the key fraudulently using social engineering) among others.
