Once you hace subscribe to Gradement you can access your account by enabling your browser. Once your browser is enabled you can open it and access your account without the need to enter any user name or password.
To enable your browser for the first time you just need to press the Log In button that you will find in the home screen, select the With subscription account option, and enter your email address (the one you used in the subscription process). We will send you an email with a link that will create a Gradement permanent session associated with your account. This session will remain permanently open, even if you close your browser. The session will be open until you explicitely decide to close it using the Logout option that you will find in the User menu and in the Session info panel of the User menu.
This is all you need to know and all you need to do to access your account. However you can continue reading this FAQ if you want to know more details about the Gradement password-less access system.
Passwords are nowadays the most widely used access mechanism for authenticating users in web pages. However, for them to prove effective, they must have a certain minimum length and a mix of more or less random numbers and uppercase and lowercase letters. It is also recommended not to reuse the same password for different web services. These minimum security requirements make passwords difficult to remember and manage. In Gradement we do not want you to accumulate any more passwords. Our system allows secure access to your account without using them.
Yes it is. The lack of passwords make the security non-dependant on the length and complexity of it, avoiding this way dictionary attacks (automatic attempt to find the key using combinations of existing words), brute force (test of all possible combinations of keys) and phishing (attempts to acquire the key fraudulently using social engineering) among others.
To begin the login process you simply need to press Log in button, at the initial screen or in the User menu, and enter your email address. You will be sent an email with a link labelled LOG IN. When pressed, the link will open in yout browser a permanent session associated with your Gradement account. From then on logins will be automatic. You simply open again your browser, open our page and Gradement will automatically recognize your account without any other action on your part.
No. You only need to request the login once. After clicking the login link from the email a session starts that will remain active indefinitely.
For security reasons the link in the login email will expire after
6 hours from it''s issuance.
Any person who gets an unauthorized access to your email server account could create a permanent session associated with your Gradement account. Whenever you detect any unauthorized access you must:
No, for security reasons the login links are single-use only. When you use them to activate a session they automatically expire.'
If you completely lose access to your email account contact us in order to change the email account registered in your account with a new one because the person who gain access to your email may initiate a Gradement session using your account.
Verify that the email is not in your spam folder. If after a few minutes you do not receive it check that you had entered the correct email address in the login request and that this was the email address you provided in your registration process.
After pressing the login link your browser will be permanently associated with your Gradement account. Since then, just by opening any page of our site, the system will recognize your account without any further action on your part. This way a sessión is created that will be considered permanent in the sense that it will remain active until you decide to explicitly close it.
No futher steps are required. Just open any page on Gradement and the system will automatically recognize your account. One way to check that your session is correctely initiated is watching your username (your email) as it appears on the top Gradement menu bar. By clicking on your user name you will get aditional information about your subscription, your current session and all the invoices issued in your name.
No, you don't need to request again the login mail, unless you explicitly decides to close the session.
The session will be open until you explicitely decide to close it using the Logout option that you will find in the User menu and in the Session info panel of the User menu.
Then your previous session in the other browser is automatically closed. For security reasons Gradement only allows one open session on the same type of device. When you open your session in another browser of the same device then automatically any other active session is closed.
You may log in from any PC, tablet or mobile device.
One session per device. So altogether you can have up to three simultaneous permanent sessions: one on a PC, another on a tablet and another one on a mobile device.
If you open a Gradement session from a device that is not yours, for example, using a computer from a public or shared place, always close explicitally the session to prevent the next user of the shared device to find an opened permanent session associated to your account.
